Linda Garner
After more than 20 years in the resources sector, our Senior Communications Consultant Linda brings a wealth of experience to the Platform team. Linda has a strong practical background in corporate communications and a proven track record in project delivery. Throughout her career, Linda has developed and managed strategic communication and stakeholder engagement programs at nearly all organisational levels.
Leanne Mizen
Our Office and Accounts Manager, Leanne has more than 15 years accounts experience, having previously worked for Rio Tinto and Dampier Salt.
Bec Bradshaw
Bec is a Commerce undergraduate, majoring in Public Relations and Marketing, whose unique approach to professional communications complements the flair of our dynamic team. Bec joined Platform in 2008 as our Junior Communications Consultant and has quickly found her niche in project and logistical management.
Heath Fernance
Our in-house editor and communications copywriter, Heath has worked locally and internationally as a sub-editor and journalist since 2006. Heath specialises in blending creative and corporate language, as well as converting technical information into plain English for mass consumption. Heath is a member of the Society of Editors Western Australia.
Steven Schaffert
In-house graphic designer, Steven has a unique flair for design, having worked as a lead designer for one of Western Australia’s leading design firms for more than ten years. Steven has serviced resource industry clients including Wesfarmers, Alcoa, BHP Billiton and Perilya Limited.
Heidi Delaney
Heidi has been working in the resources sector for the past 17 years. Her main focus has been Human Resources and Investor Relations. She was previously employed by BHP Billiton, WMC and Perilya. An experienced Project Manager, Heidi has completed work for Galaxy Resources, Shire of Ravensthorpe and BHP Billiton.
Helen Nell
With 15 years experience in the resources sector, Helen has worked for BHP Billiton Petroleum, Transfield Worley in a joint venture with Woodside Energy, Bulong Operations, AlintaGas and the Office of Energy. As a consultant for Platform Communications, Helen has coordinated several large-scale events on behalf of BHP Billiton and Perilya Limited.
Claire Stannard
Claire is a Communications and Law undergraduate and a dynamic communications consultant. Claire joined Platform in 2006 and has brought creative flair and professional finesse to the team. Claire has a proven track record of operational success and specialises in communication strategy development and implementation, event management, client liaison, design and photography coordination and media monitoring.
Jo Keil
Our Senior Communications Consultant, Jo brings in-depth integrated marketing and communication understanding to the table. Jo has managed strategic communications programs in a range of sectors, including energy and resources, government, construction, property, corporate events and retail. Jo thrives in fast-paced working environments and is an astute event manager, copy writer, project manager and client and media liaison officer.
Gemma Hodge
With eight years of industry experience under her belt, our in-house graphic designer Gemma specialises in corporate branding and is experienced in advertising, retail and website design. Gemma has been fortunate to work professionally across all design disciplines and loves the challenges and variety her profession affords. Gemma has completed design jobs for Alcoa, Wesfarmers, BHP Billiton, Woodside and Minara Resources.
Kirsty Danby
Our Principal consultant, Kirsty has more than ten years experience in the corporate communications arena. Kirsty has worked as an in-house consultant for BHP Billiton, Woodside Energy and Alcoa World Alumina, and has serviced clients including Nexus Energy and Perilya Limited as a senior consultant with Gryphon Management Australia. Kirsty thrives in high-pressure environments.
