Each of our communications specialists brings unique expertise and a practical backing to deliver smart, fresh communication concepts and strategies. Our strategic team operates in collaboration with our innovative team of graphic designers to create a highly polished, modern end product.
Drew Wilson
Marketing and Communications Consultant Drew holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Having worked in a diverse range of industries, Drew specialises in the development of profitable internal and external business relationships, marketing and branding. Drew has experience in the mining and resources sector, and has previously worked at Parsons Brinckerhoff and Orica. He brings efficient communication and organisational skills to the Platform communications team.
Caitlan Plowright
Caitlan is part of Platform’s events management team. She is studying a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship, with a minor in Business Law. Caitlan will graduate university in 2012 and is enjoying the challenging and exciting work environment that Platform Communications provides.
Sally Knight
Sally is completing her degree in Public Relations and Marketing and is part of Platform’s events management team. Sally has worked previously with the Mandurah City Rotary Club where she coordinated a fundraiser to raise money for the Lake Clifton bushfire victims. Sally looks forward to building relationships with clients and developing her experience in event management.
Shaun Fox
Senior Graphic Designer Shaun specialises in corporate marketing and branding and is experienced in advertising, print and website design. Shaun has been fortunate to work professionally across a wide range of design disciplines as well undertaking some freelance work for a range of clients.
Grant Patterson
Senior Graphic Designer Grant has been in the design industry since 2005 and has vast experience in print, website and collateral design. He has a fresh approach to design and is experienced with a range of design programs to suit any photo editing, printing, and website requirements.
Emma Mann
Creative Director Emma has a unique flair for design, having worked as a lead designer for many of Western Australia’s leading design firms for more than 16 years. Emma has serviced resource industry and corporate clients including Wesfarmers, Minara, Alcoa, HiSmelt, Western Power and Ausdrill.
Gerri Tunstead
Our Office Manager Gerri has recently completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Finance and Economics. She has over 10 years experience in the travel industry, including five years in management. Gerri brings excellent organisation, time management and people skills to the Platform Office, making her an exciting addition to the team.
Leanne Mizen
Our Accounts Manager, Leanne has more than 15 years accounting experience, having previously worked for Rio Tinto and Dampier Salt.
Ella McCarthy
Ella is a communications professional with nine years experience in managing projects for clients in the finance, mining and not-for-profit sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom. Having previously worked for BHP Billiton, Macmahon and St. George Bank as an in-house consultant, Ella’s career has spanned marketing, communications and public relation roles. Ella is currently applying her expertise and understanding of the resource industry to lead Platform’s events consulting team.
Kirsty Danby
Our Principal Consultant, Kirsty has 12 years experience in the corporate communications and public relations arenas. Kirsty has worked as an in-house consultant for BHP Billiton, Woodside Energy and Alcoa. She serviced clients including Nexus Energy and Minara Resources while working as a senior consultant with Gryphon Management Australia. Her grasp of strategic communications concepts, combined with her personable demeanour, ensures the smooth running of all communications programs at Platform.
