Expression of interest
As the resources sector faces increasing technical, economic and sustainability challenges, collaborative research remains one of the most powerful ways to reduce risk, accelerate innovation and deliver solutions that no single organisation can achieve alone. This workshop is an opportunity for industry to help define what comes next.
Participants will be asked to share:
- What innovation your organisation wants to focus on over the coming years.
- Where research and collaboration could deliver the greatest value.
- What future research programs and facilities should look like to support industry needs.
To guide discussion, three broad topic areas have been identified as key gaps across the industry:
- Commodities – emerging and existing commodities of strategic importance and where in the supply chain is most crucial.
- Techniques – new and evolving exploration techniques, data, and analytical approaches across the minerals value chain, from pre-exploration through mining to enhanced understanding of dumps, tailing and previously mined deposits.
- Sustainability – improving environmental, social and long‑term economic outcomes.
Your insights will directly inform priorities for future collaborative research and capability development for Australia’s minerals and resources sector.
Places are limited, and successful participants will be contacted directly to confirm their registration.
