Our CEO Kirsty Danby attended the Business News Politics & Business Breakfast this morning which featured the Hon. Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA, Minister for WA’s Minister for Energy, Decarbonisation, Manufacturing, Skills & TAFE, and the Pilbara.
The Minister outlined a new transmission plan to position Western Australia as a clean energy powerhouse, targeting 2 GW+ of additional renewable energy by 2030. A highlight was the introduction of local-first procurement rules, ensuring WA utilities prioritise local suppliers.
It was a great opportunity to connect with industry peers and gain insights into the next phase of WA’s energy future.
