Platform turns six years old today and has grown exponentially since the company was founded in 2006.

A team of 19 comprising communications consultants, graphic designers and administrative staff deliver exceptional communication outcomes from offices in Perth and Brisbane for a client base of over 60 organisations, ranging from global corporations to the locally-owned suppliers that are so critical to Australia’s mining and resource industries.

In addition to providing specialist strategic communication solutions to the mining and resource industries, Platform actively supports the West Australian community through pro-bono communication and graphic design work for organisations such as Via Appia Networking WA and The Resources Channel. Platform consultants are actively engaged with the industry, with team members sitting on company boards and committees including the Perth Centre for Photography and Public Relations Institute of Australia (WA) Young Guns.

Platform Director Kirsty Danby says she is optimistic about what the future holds for Platform.

“Both the Australian and global economies have been extremely hard-hit over the last number of years, as have the primary industries that we work in – mining and resources. Despite the challenges these economic circumstances have presented to us, we’ve overcome them and are continuing to grow,” Kirsty said. “As the economy regains its strength, Platform will be poised to continue building our reputation as a leading strategic communications consultancy.”
