Last night at the Energy Club WA Industry Dinner, our CEO Kirsty Danby facilitated a panel on: The Emerging Commercial Landscape of Offshore Oil & Gas Decommissioning.
We were delighted to host Jo Ferrie, Woodside Energy, Lisa Dumbrell, APA Group, Tony Johnson, Santos Ltd, Daein Cha deepC Store, Kale Billett and Antonio Tecchiato, AIE Engineering, and Emma Corry, Sustainability student at The University of Western Australia on our table.
The panel featured a diverse group of incredibly experienced professionals – Sue McCarrey NOPSEMA, Carrie McIntosh, Xodus, Fredrik Karlstad, OceanTech Innovation AS, and Jason Medd, Australian Energy Producers.
Among the many topic areas, panellists highlighted:
- WA can lead decommissioning by learning from global projects
- driving collaboration across industry and government
- stakeholder engagement should be undertaken for the full project lifecycle
