WA Mining Club Luncheon

On Wednesday Kirsty Danby (CEO) and Chantel Cullen (Associate Director) attended the WA Mining Club Luncheon as guests of MDR Certification Engineers Pty Ltd alongside the Malaysian Consul General Nur Eliza, Aimeer Raffiq Ahmad Ridzwan (Consulate General of Malaysia Perth) and Muhamad Hafiz Ismail (Consul, Education) Gabriella Roccisano, (Yindjibarndi Energy Corporation) Grant Young (Managing Director at Baynton & Co) and Craig Davies (Managing Director of B.I.E International). Speaker Rob Telford CEO for Talison Lithium shared a clear reminder that in mining, it’s frontline operational teams who turn ore into saleable product.

“If we’re not doing something to make it safer for them, simpler, more productive, and more satisfying to do – then what are we doing?” he said, pointing to the importance of strong leadership in supporting and enabling people on the ground.
