Platform celebrates 3 years

Since its inception in 2006, Platform has successfully grown to a dynamic consultancy of 9 team members and its client base has expanded to include a more diverse range of industries and projects.
Platform celebrated a very special milestone on 26 November 2009 - its third anniversary!
Around 40 clients, industry colleagues and Platform staff attended the party held at the chic Platform Restaurant and Bar on St Georges Terrace.
Platform's client Ford Murray presented a glowing testimonial to Platform suggesting a close-knit family who band together to produce outstanding results. He described the team as reliable, creative, smart and dedicated to seeing a project through to on-time delivery when a successful outcome is critical.
Platform Director Kirsty Danby Platform commented on the company's relatively rapid, yet sustainable growth, which she attributed to strong relationships and excellent project outcomes. She went onto thank her clients for their trust and support and praised her team for their efforts over the past three years.
The formalities concluded with a joyous rendition of ‘Happy Birthday' and the cutting of the birthday cake.

Platform Communications recently attend the 2010 RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle and was pleased to share an exhibition booth with client CKA Risk Solutions.
The RIU Explorers Conference has earned a reputation as a major Australian forum for the junior resources sector. Presentations from mineral exploration companies and emerging new miners attract an ever-growing group of brokers, fund managers and investors to the conference, which provides excellent networking for companies seeking farm-in opportunities or partners.
The RIU Conference is an ideal forum for Platform to display our capabilities, particularly in terms of our graphic design expertise and success. Platform's graphic design team consistently delivers fresh, creative designs for our clients, assisting with the development of original brand designs and seamless creative integration across multiple media.
Platform attended the conference with long-term client CKA Risk Solutions. CKA is an independent, specialised insurance broking and risk consultancy service provider with a national reputation for mining and resources industry expertise. Platform has worked with CKA for a number of years, successfully developing a unique and striking brand to help communicate their corporate identity and promote their business to key stakeholders and clients.
Platform succeeded in developing the current CKA brand, along with a suite of communication, marketing and promotional materials using the new brand elements. Platform delivered a complete and cohesive, professional and practical suite of communication materials for CKA, including a website, corporate brochures, factsheets, banners, advertisements and client presentations.

Platform Communications was pleased to support the Resource Channel's second resource industry breakfast on 2 March at Kings Park Function Centre in Perth.
The Resource Channel's first industry breakfast for 2010 bought senior resource industry figures in touch with employment specialists and featured special guest speakers Miranda Taylor, Director Skills and Safety for APPEA, and Martin Warren, Principal Consultant at Insidejob.
The Resource Channel provides Australian Resource Sector employers with an exclusive portal to communicate employment-related news, tips, information and advice. The site also enables employers and industry specific recruitment agencies to advertise current job vacancies.
Platform supports The Resource Channel with communication, web and design expertise and is proud to be associated with this unique and evolving business.
